At Angela Gum, D.D.S., we file and process your insurance claims.  We do our best to offer transparent pricing for the services we provide as your Arena District dental office, which means you’ll receive an estimate for treatment beforehand.  That estimate will include both your insurance estimate and your estimate for the treatment.  Most of our patients receive an EOB from their insurance company before they receive a statement from our office.  Additionally, when submitting a claim, we often submit x-rays, per standard practice to keep all billing in order.

How Employer Dental Insurance Works

If you have dental insurance, you can expect the insurance company to pay for a portion of the Usual, Customary, and Reasonable (UCR) fee.  The contract between your employer and the insurance company will determine the UCR fee.

We Proudly Accept the Following PPO Insurance Plans:

Delta Dental, Cigna, Metlife, Guardian, Aetna, Anthem, Medical Mutual, Superior, United Health Care, Assurant, GEHA, Humana, and Care Credit

For patients without dental insurance, we accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Payments are due at the time of service. Please call the office to make payment arrangements.

Self-Pay Options

While we proudly accept the above insurance plans, we also work with self-pay patients.  Our office offers a discount if you elect to self-pay, so please be sure to ask about it when you come in for your first visit.
